If you are having problems with Internet explorer in Windows seven then the first option you can try is to use the inbuilt Windows 7 Internet Explorer troubleshooters. There are two available to use. The Internet Explorer Performance troubleshooter and the Internet Explorer Safety troubleshooter.
How to run the Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter.

- Click on the Start button in the left hand corner.
- Choose Control Panel from the menu.
- Under the System and Security heading choose Find and Fix Problems. See the screenshot below.
- In the left sidebar choose the link View All.
- A list of troubleshooters will appear. Shown below.
- Choose the Internet Explorer Performance troubleshooter from the list. See them in the screenshot above.
- The troubleshooter will open.
- Follow the steps to find problems in Internet Explorer.
- If the troubleshooter finds a problem you can get it fixed automatically.
How to run the Internet Explorer safety troubleshooter. (same steps as above)
