hey, i just started my computer today, like any other day, the power comes on, the fan works, at first, it was loading windows but then it got stuck in the first few seconds when your pc starts. at first, i thought its not a big problem, then i pushed the reset button. after that, nothing even shows, the light on my mouse is on, the light on the pc is on, everything seems to be working properly, i know its not the monitor problem cause it was just working a while ago, on the screen, its totally blank, nothing shows

help me please, I’m quite desperate as i do not want to bring it in to the shop as i dont trust them as much

thanks!

Did you try hitting CTRL ALT DEL to get to task manager? Then start a task..explorer.exe

I have a Dell inspiron 1521 and last week we had a power surge. It is hooked up to a surge protector but something is wrong now. It will boot up and turn on to the page where you log in. I click on our user name and then it will go blank, with the only thing showing is a mouse pointer. I can hit ctrl, alt, delete and get the task manager…etc. up but that’s all. Do you have any suggestions to help us?
