From my perspective the design need to be simple, clean and user friendly. A slick modern look also helps but that's about it and its as far as design can get you, content is still more important then design.
I tried a few web hosting companies and ended up with Hostgator. They have looked after me so far above and beyond anything I could ever imagine. They have also looked after people that I have sent to Hostgator.
Same here, I still buy my domains from Godaddy but as far as hosting goes, hostgator is the best...
Everyone wants to know how to make money from a website. Here are some ideas I have picked up while surfing the internet. Become an affiliate marketer. You can sign up at Amazon, EBay, Commission Junction, and more...Put targeted ads on your website. This could include adsense, Yahoo ads, Kontara, and more...Sell links on your site. This means people pay you for putting a link on your website. Get membership fees. Get your visitors to join your comunity for a fee.Turn your website content into an ebook. Build a huge website and sell it for millions.Anything is possible, it just depends on the quality of your content. If it is valuable to people they will pay you money.
I'm planning to do all of these with my next website, its a forum about aquarium fish. Planning to build it pretty big, though I don;t really know how to gather a mini community with which I can start...
I start a blog and runs for past six months. I get only 1000 page views a day and i earn only $10 for these past six month. I can i increase my earning. What are ways improve my blog? Thanks in advances.
Do you use Google Adsense or something else? What is your blog about? Niche?Your earnings are very low indeed but your traffic is pretty decent, I suggest more SEO, this means more backlinks. I also suggest you find a better way to earn from it, finding clients for banners and links helps a lot and it pays a lot better then Adsense.
From my perspective treat it as a real business only when it comes to money, but your blog's content must stay neutral, most people will start a blog because they like writing about specific stuff, its more like a hobby at first, my point is, keep it like a hobby, enjoy it, its the only way you will stay successful.Treating the hole thing like a business may damage the quality of the content in time.
Google Adsense is great only if you own a website with some good traffic and a proper niche, usually content based is the best. But even so, I've found that you can earn a lot more money throw normal banners, links and ads compared with Google Adsense.
Not anyone can make money with Amazon, it depends on the niche and the actual content of your website. In your case (Computer help websites) it may work, place a couple ads involving computer parts and other relate things.
Interesting, I'm glad for such a change, its a trend for some time now for websites to gather bigger and bigger ads on the top of the pages and most time you need to scroll quite a lot to find the actual content.
The thing about getting backlinks is that you need to get them in the most natural way possible. Both dofollow and nofollow will be positive in Google's eyes.
