KeymasterFirst thing I must mention is that are you plugging it in the right connection as some computers have a few options at the rear of the computer. Some have on board video and add on video cards.
Have you tried another display monitor to see if that works?
Would the plug pins be damaged in any way?

September 15, 2014 at 6:15 am in reply to: How to burn mp4 to DVD-R to play on DVD player on TV? #40222Mitz
KeymasterIf you converted your Mp4 to Avi then it should play from the disc, even if it is a data disc.. but this depends on the dvd player you are using.
The actual DVD player can only read and play certain file formats but AVI is pretty common. Some even play XVID as well. Look up the info for your dvd player to see what file types it will play.
Also the disc you used might not be compatible with your player…
DVD players are on their way out as smart tv’s are wireless streaming videos directly from the internet and your home computer through your own network.

KeymasterDon’t take money with you when you leave the house.
Think before you spend.
Don’t buy takeaway food.
Think about cooking cheap meals at home.
Grow vegies in pots or on land that don’t take much maintenance. Like pumpkins grow like crazy..
Recycle and save water if it costs money. Catch water in drums to water plants.
Buying something cheap and reselling it is a good way to make more money.

Keymaster1. Always check your junk folder. maybe your friends have been marked as junk for sending something questionable. Or maybe you previously blocked them for sending silly emails to you.
2. Are they sending mail to the correct address?
3. Is mail forwarding setup for this email? If it is then there will be emails going somewhere else besides your inbox.
4. Is your inbox full?
5. Are the people sending files that are too large for the free email account?

KeymasterI still think that Avast is the best virus protection around but others are chasing their tales.
Even though you have the best protection, not much can protect you from file sharing through P2P networks. this is because you are choosing to download risky files, then you are choosing to open them. The antivirus might warn you but you are the one in control in the end.
It is your responsibility to protect your computer from viruses as it is usually the user that allows them in the door.
Here are some quick tips to protect your computer when using P2P:
- Simply don’t download this stuff. There are huge risks from downloading warez.
- Be careful when opening a port for P2P network software as it is usually left open when not using. This is an exception that will pass through your router firewall.
- Don’t share all of your files. It is not only illegal to download pirated software, it is also illegal to share it.
- Scan everything you download even if you think the file is safe.
- Install the file or open the file on a computer that doesn’t hold important irreplaceable data and take precautions before installing software.
Choosing the BEST virus protection:
This step depends on what you do on your computer. If you only check emails online and never download anything then virus removal software is not a big issue for you. A free antivirus program will be fine.
Sometimes when downloading and installing software via P2P networks you will undoubtedly be hit by various rootkit viruses. When you find yourself in this position it is good to be prepared with utilities for virus removal.
However if you choose to live on the wild side then you need a good antivirus program and generally not the free version.

KeymasterIf you have a legit copy of Microsoft Office 2013 then it should work fine.. It is only the illegal key generators that won’t work in Windows 8.
Cannot Activate because this product is incapable of KMS Activation
I found these instructions on this site…
Just make some calls, then you can activate it.
First find and install the newest KEYs according to the version you installed: VOL OR RETAIL…(A LOT YOU CAN FIND VIA GOOGLE)
Then open word, choose to activate via phone, choose region: UK\US…..
Then open skype, make free 800-xxxxx call, follow the guide and enter the numbers
When all done, and if the key still valid, write down the numbers given back.
At last, enter the numbers and Your office is activated!!
But I always recommend having a legit copy of any software as it always works better and you can always ask for support.

KeymasterHi Mia
I have had many laptops over the years and I don’t have a favourite but there are some I hate!Dell Laptop – Solid construction of casing but always had a problem with the screen hinges breaking and eventually wires showing through. Probably on two laptops I had. Also overheating if placed on a bed. Probably overheats faster than others. Still think they are OK. Dell also has junk software installed at first, like the facial recognition software that I did not need.
HP Laptop – Not bad but runs hot when you have a dust build up. Have dropped these a few times and the corners have fallen apart but all still worked.. Nice and smooth once you get rid of the junk HP software that you really don’t need.
Toshiba Laptop – I HATE TOSHIBA LAPTOPS. When people used to bring these to me to repair, I hated them. They were the most bloated piece of junk. Toshiba came out with fancy finger print readers that were painful and other new things that didn’t last. Sometimes I think they were testing the laptops on the customers and didn’t bother to test them first. I especially hate them because one of our schools had a laptop program and it included a Toshiba laptop. Even though there was free techs at the school, I had these laptops bought to me for speeding up.. They were junk and I think Toshiba did a cheap deal with the school to get these in. Just crap.
Apple Mac Book – My daughter has one of these and I am jealous sometimes as the battery seems to last forever. She also leaves it running and it never gets hot.. WTF? BUT!!!! As for computer maintenance, there is no such thing and a Mac really needs it. My daughter knows what to do on a Windows computer and Googled what to do on a Mac but it is still slow. Show also removed most files, which did help a bit but the only way to really clean it up is to format.

KeymasterI do not have any detailed idea about the various rules need to be followed while doing the link wheel. I merely think that the link wheel should not be made with the junk content, The content of the related resource should be fresh and should be never used before. The link wheel made should be given the utmost priority as the related wheels are important for the one to the utmost.
