A friend put it in there and it was working but the computer has been formatted and I installed all teh drivers but couldn't find the disc that went with that wireless card. So I downloaded a driver for it..Its in the slots inside the computer and the arial sticks out the back of the computer. Ok you are going to think I am an idiot but I have figured out my problem. I went back and checked how the email addresses were entered into the contacts list and it was not a pretty picture. I had put the email address into the first name field and entered no email address at all… It still came up in the contacts as an email address just like the others... I can't believe I did that.. And I can't believe Thunderbird let me get away with it.March 31, 2009 at 9:55 am in reply to: Thunderbird – Email contacts are there but I cannot use them??? #31636
Unfortunately I cannot use the other answers you gave me until I figure out why I can't use these email addresses. Could I have entered them wrong?March 31, 2009 at 9:53 am in reply to: Thunderbird – How do you make it check all your email servers at once? #31643

Thanks Dak that works… It confused me because on the bottom of the list it only had cc or to: as the choices.
So when you typed in what merlin said, on the good computer you got an answer and on the bad computer it did not work? Is this what happened? I am interested because it has happened to me..
I am sure this is what they do…Put you on hold so they can get away from you.HA HA HA.
I have norton and I know it is annoying but it is worth it because it deals with the spam. I had a real problem with it until Norton was installed..March 19, 2009 at 1:00 pm in reply to: Email not sending through one of my email accounts on Outlook #31153

I do not have any software that came with the dvd player. Where can I get the file to make this work?
Thanks for your answers. The file ended up being a RAR file which really stumped me..And the brother in law justed mentioned that it was zipped up. I had no idea that there was different types of zipped files. I think he just did this on purpose to annoy me… 🙂
