A few things to note1. There are a few older systems that simply will not allow you in the bios, I would suggest Googling your system particularly your motherboard prior to running a repair2.
I will be at work at 4: 00 am instead of 6:00 am so this means i will bu under the covers and sleeping during the passing from the old year to the new onebut thats fine because according to those that keep time this new year will be one second late in getting here anyway. The U.S. Naval Observatory, keeper of the Pentagon's master clock, said it would add the extra second on Wednesday in coordination with the world's atomic clocks at 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds Coordinated Universal Time, or UTC.BearDecember 28, 2008 at 1:21 pm in reply to: The sweet spot – value computer components – BUDGET version #30667
That is a pretty good set up there Dak, I have a couple of suggestions Forget the floppy drive unless you happen to have floppy disc's laying about and really need the drive floppy's are pretty much a thing of the past. When getting your components particularly the motherboard make sure that it will support at least two cpu upgrades and that you can open the bios.Do a lot of shopping to make sure you have the best prices and if your going to have it built check several shops as wellBear

I agree up to the external hard drive, saying that it is a main component is not correct, you can not install the operating system and boot to an external drive there for it would not be a main component.Bear
try one of these players from sourceforgeI have not tested any of these so i don't know if they will work, installing them may involve some command line use so if any one is not sure what a command line is then you probably should not mess with thisBearhttp://sourceforge.net/projects/opendvd/http://sourceforge.net/projects/mplayer-setup/http://sourceforge.net/projects/mplayerguiwin/Bear

The nature of open source stuff like Firefox is that anyone can access the code, anyone can submit addons for it, and there are millions of geeks worldwide competing with each other to come up with the perfect addon Smiley Internet Explorer, Apple Safari or anyone else will never compete with this adaptability!
The day's of having limited choices of not only your operating system but also of what type of programs you could use are long gone. Gone are the day's of shelling out your hard earned money for what should have been included in the operating system at no extra cost. The Windows operating system has been steadily loosing ground during the past few years. Windows rush to catch up and failure can clearly be seen in the number of issueswith Windows XP and now Vista. For those of you that are not aware Windows Vista will have the shortest life of all the Windows operating systems with the release in November 2009 of Windows 7There of course have been reports that Windows 7 is an upgrade to Vista and will be released according to the stability of the current

I think you have hit the nail on the head DSTM, Having been a smoker about the only difference I can see is the amount of air versus the amount of smoke between light and non lightMara you did not offend anyone because your right about knowing, Common sense would tell a smoker thatI think it very unfortunate that the Supreme court has handed down this verdict simply because we ( U.S) have becomea nation of " Can't take responsibility for my actions so I will sue."Growing up we have all done things that have hurt us, but we learn from those mistakes and then don't do them againmaybe we all need to go back and re-learn those things again.BearDecember 18, 2008 at 12:02 pm in reply to: An Windows error message that came up on my computer??
