If you are a member of twitter and you want to know if the people you are following are returning the favour then this is the website for you. http://friendorfollow.comSeptember 13, 2009 at 5:19 pm #31986
I thought about registering for a twitter, but then I remembered that I have issues with being virtually stalked and having to post everything I do, it isn't anyones business to know when I'm doing my business!!But yes would be handy for that sorta thing.September 13, 2009 at 10:39 pm #31987
It is essential if you have a website to let followers know when you have a new post or whatever…It is a bit like stalking though…But not when its for an internet business…You want them to follow you and find out whats happening with your site. I would not use it for personal reasons as you are right…Its no ones business to know what you are doing in your personal life…It's totally weird that people do this…Also Twitter has added a new way to see if a person is following you.. See http://tips4pc.com/Twitter/how_to_tell_if_someone_is_follow.htmSeptember 14, 2009 at 10:10 pm #31988
I agree that it is OK for business reasons, to help keep members informed of updates and opportunities for prizes and anything in that general area. However, In a personal life thing...nuh uh.September 14, 2009 at 11:51 pm #31989
I think the whole concept of being your own paparazzi is kind of wierd, though I guess at least you know you may be stalking yourself but you arent likely to murder yourself with an axe… you'd have to wait for a follower to do that job for you…I think most of the people with major followings probably dont input the data personally too... an example would be Barack Obamas twitter.. he has millions of followers but I am willing to bet that he isnt personally entering the details of his life on his phone between meetings....I can understand RSS feeds, to keep you informed of changes on a site you visit a lot, but twittering seems to have an element of peeping tom in it.. I think you need to be a voyeur or exhibitionist to take part in it. I am neither. Even my personal website contains a few personal opinions, a couple of nice photos etc, but it does not contain the personal events in my life and isn't about toSeptember 15, 2009 at 12:32 am #31990
Yeah, twitter people are out there, and the whole axe thing freaked me out but it makes sense, so try to avoid the whole info sharing thing on the internet or some guy with a ski mask and a machete might show up at your door and try to chop your head off. ;DOctober 9, 2009 at 1:44 pm #31991
Yeah I do not see the point to Twitter and I think people will wake up and see that it is actually doing nothing for them…But the question is …When are they going to wake up?
I am not an expert but I am interested in learning. 🙂November 6, 2009 at 2:56 am #31992
My guess is never.. People will always want attention and twitter gives it to them. The only thing that gets me is why large corporations are starting to use twitter as well as facebook and myspace..December 29, 2009 at 9:59 am #31993
Twitter is awesome….it works amazingly I think…you don't even know the people but still following starts automatically.April 20, 2012 at 11:17 am #31994
I unfollowed all the people not following me using this tool. And Traffup banned me for mass unfollowing people. I have also received warning from Twiends. So, don't use this tool if you are using sites like Twiends and Traffup..January 29, 2013 at 4:56 am #31995
