Interesting terms. Spyware, Malware, Adware, Virus. I wonder, in the beginning was everything just a virus? Then when there was so many different types of viruses, they had to name them individually? Does anyone know the answer to this?Spyware: A small software program that spy's on your actions on the computer. It could be after personal information or just internet browsing habits, who knows? Malware: Any software that has evil, sneaky intentions. Not for good.Adware: Software that contains annoying advertising. Virus: A small software program that infects your computer and multiplies itself.October 22, 2009 at 6:24 pm #32508
Yes, I think everything was just a virus that got and keeps getting more complex. I'm just hoping McAfee can keep up or i might be getting a peek at those interesting terms, I've had a Malware problem a few years ago, it isn't fun when ya figure out you have it.. 🙁October 22, 2009 at 10:45 pm #32509

Would not use Norton, even if Norton paid me to use it.It sucks big time.Takes over your OS,and leaves so much behind, even when and if you are able to uninstall it successfully.Smart people DONT use Norton.
