Well I am having a simple new years eve as xmas has been non stop for us…I am over it. We are going to sit around a bomb fire with our slushie machine and drink icey cocktails…not many people though… Don't want to have to do anything!!!! ;DWhat have you got planned for new years?
Done enough entertaining, over Christmas,so my Wife and I, have decided to have a quiet night at Home, and probably watch the Fireworks on the Idiot Box (TV).Because it's so warm here,we will have Chicken and Salad, and wash it down, with a few Jack Daniels. No need to get wasted,as 2009 will most likely be, not much different, from 2008.
i'm thinking of gate crashing at mitz's, coz she only lives half a mile from me 😉

Aaagh, the forecast is for more snow here so if I have any energy left from all the shoveling, may just snuggle under the covers and drink hot chocolate and also watch the count-down and fireworks on the television.Gosh, I must be older than I thought ... it doesn't seem that long ago we headed out for an evening of dinner and dancing all night!
I will be at work at 4: 00 am instead of 6:00 am so this means i will bu under the covers and sleeping during the passing from the old year to the new onebut thats fine because according to those that keep time this new year will be one second late in getting here anyway. The U.S. Naval Observatory, keeper of the Pentagon's master clock, said it would add the extra second on Wednesday in coordination with the world's atomic clocks at 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds Coordinated Universal Time, or UTC.Bear
I am over all that partying on new years eve…I think I am getting old now too…I cannot handle the lack of sleep…We have even had second thoughts about bringing out the slushie machine as not many people drink icey alcholic drinks at our age… and everyone thinks they will be in bed by 10pm…. Oh well… We did have a xmas street party and had the slushie machine there…the kids were lined up around the block for it LOLOL…Hopefully we will have the fire on anyway...If you see the big fire from the Dag hwy then drop in...LOL
Oh my dod, a slushie machine!!!
Well I did the slushie machine thing…had a few nice cocktails..went up to the bonfire….drank a few more…Left the bonfire and went back to the gazebo wtih a few friends and then piked it before new years…LOLOLOLOLOL… GOOD TIME THOUGH!!!!happy new year
