Hi I'm new here. Has anyone else had this problem. Yesterday I successfully installed Microsoft Professional Plus on two computers. Afterwards when I sent an email in Outlook Express it was checked in French!. I tried to change the lanuage to English with tools, options, language but the only option was French.I then went into word 2007 and entered English (US) as the operating language. Still no change in spellcheck.. >:(October 12, 2009 at 9:05 pm #32492
Sorry to tell you this…but its a problem that Microsoft knows about and the only fix they offer is to use another spellchecker…LOL Can you believe that? Here is the article about it on the Microsoft website http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932974 The other option is to install the files off the office 2003 cd. You do not need to install a program, just a shared feature. At the bottom of the program listing there are options, select the office shared features, then on the next screen choose Proofing tools list, then choose the English dictionary. You can also download a free program http://www.snapfiles.com/get/spelloe.htmll that is made for Outlook Express. That will also fix your problem asap.
