Hi guys, a couple of weeks ago, when i was having trouble to access my laptop's desktop, i tried to find a solution around the net and found a useful software called Puppy Linux. I think you all know about this software, right? Where you can boot your error Windows laptop and access to the HDD through Puppy Linux simple OS. But i wanna ask something about this software. I heard that with this software, not only you can browse to internet or back up files, but you can also burn your files to DVD via Puppy Linux OS. But what is the plugin that i must use to burn the files through Puppy Linux? Please help.October 29, 2013 at 4:42 am #34302
Are you talking about burning files to a dvd disc in Puppt Linux? If you are then I would try http://www.imgburn.com/ as it says that it works with linux. You will have to look into that though. Also http://cdrdao.sourceforge.net/ states that it will work too. But as for your version of Linux, I have seen no proof yet. Therefore if you do try any of these please let us know if they work ?October 30, 2013 at 2:02 am #34303
Thanks for your recommendation Mitz. But are those software can burn through Puppy Linux OS, directly when i'm not booting my laptop to Windows OS but to Puppy Linux OS instead at the first time? Sorry to ask twice because i heard that many users who are having trouble with their laptop (cannot load their windows OS but go to boot manager window) and tried Puppy Linux OS, many of them managed to burn their files to DVD and back up all of their files before they're planning to re-install their windows OS.
