I have been accepted into the Amazon affiliate program but have no idea where to start. What is the best way to use Amazon in my situation. (Computer help websites) Should I even try this?August 4, 2009 at 9:46 pm #31493
I don't know how they're affiliate program works, I just buy from them.August 5, 2009 at 1:14 am #31494
Well you sign up and then put links to their products on your website, or even in emails, or whatever you can get away with…When people buy something from them, you get a commission.. This is only if they are bought something after they have clicked on one of your affiliate links. Its not working for me at the moment by you need to keep trying things to see how they work…My website is not for people who want to spend money, and therefore this doesn't suit it…August 16, 2011 at 5:30 am #31495
Hi Mitz,We are using Amazon currently which is one of the ways I found you. We have made a total of $5.38 in about 6 months. We have a site geared around instruments. It is mainly piano and lessons but we have just about every instrument Amazon carries. Each has it's own page. We have a few reviews. We aren't getting any traffic. Although after reading your post on optimization, we are going to take some of the review pages and optimize them. Tough percentages to work with starting at 4% commission which is why traffic is key.August 16, 2011 at 10:04 am #31496
Yep i think I posted this about two years ago…I do use Amazon but it is not my main money maker...I have really only started blending it into one of my websites... If I had added Amazon from the start on every page I would probably make good money with it...But the site I am talking about has Adsense and it makes an amazing income..therefore I can add a few Amazon links but not too many as Adsense is more important. Check out this website...He makes money with Amazon and a few other affiliates.. http://www.piano-keyboard-reviews.com/ Interesting when you get to see a successful website in action.August 17, 2011 at 12:21 am #31497
Point taken. That site is where we want to go.Thanks for pointing that out.I especially like the idea of offering guest post reviews. Get your work done for the price of a link. Love it.August 23, 2011 at 6:47 pm #31498
I have Amazon links on my blogs, but am not making much on them. In fact, I've never been paid by them, as you have to make at least $60.00 to receive a cheque (I think that's the amount). I've noticed also, that the links work when they feel like it.January 27, 2012 at 1:22 am #31499

You can actually place the affiliate ads on your blog or website and try to draw visitors to not only click them, but buy the products that are available and offered by Amazon as well. This will help you earn from the affiliates. ______________________Custom Home BuildersJune 20, 2012 at 11:21 am #31501
Not anyone can make money with Amazon, it depends on the niche and the actual content of your website. In your case (Computer help websites) it may work, place a couple ads involving computer parts and other relate things.
