I have a 1 terabyte external drive and about half of it is full. I took it to a friends and placed it on a professional sound speaker, which is the only thing I remember doing that may have caused it to become “corrupted or unreadable”. Device Manager shows it as completely full but with 0 files!!!
Hi there arsenioI would say the cable to the external hard drive might be damaged...Try another cable or put the hard drive in another external drive to test. If you installed the version through an update you can go to the control panel>Programs and Features>Installed updates> and uninstall from there... It will revert back to the old one...Thats what is meant to happen...The other option is to find a program that opens .art files.
Hey there. You can try what Mitz said but from my perspective I doubt that external HDD will ever work again. Hard drives and magnets (your friend's professional sound speaker) don't go together that well. Even a light brush with a magnet on the hard drive can damage it permanently.
