ParticipantAll my problems began about a week ago when I logged onto my computer that I have used and haven't modified for about 6 months. I logged on fine, opened Skype as usual, then Firefox but that's when the trouble began; my computer felt extremely sluggish and slow. So to make sure this isn't some sort of Internet lag issue I opened my documents that took about a minute to open so that told me I should do what I usually do, restart the computer. So after restarting the computer the same problems persisted, except it felt even slower, almost as if there is no processing power at all (which is what I believe may be the root of the problem). So I shut it down for the night that took a surprisingly long time, about 15,20 minutes just to shut down. But since there was nothing I could do I left it. So the next day I opened up the computer and started searching around for an unplugged cable or something that seemed out of place, but everything looked fine, but when I decided to turn it on, and was greeted by the Black Screen of death. And by that I mean the monitor wouldn't respond to me turning on the computer despite the fans spinning and the usual noises being made. So this made me very sad and confused, as I have no idea what is going on. I tried plugging my keyboard and mouse back in but I didn't see the usual lights on them as if even my peripherals aren't being picked up by my computer. So I left it. After coming back many days later I tried adjusting things from what I read on a website, So I took out my graphics card I took out my processor and put it back in, played around with all the cords and cables, made sure my RAM was fine. And after all of that my problems went from bad to worse. It appears now for the first time my computer turned itself off. So i turned it on again a few minutes later. It turned itself off about 2-3 minutes after that. So now I have tried everything that I can, please help me.Thanks in advance, The FeaR

ParticipantI too suffer from the same set of problem. My laptop is five years old and I used it in a delicate manner so that I never take it to a service station ever in last five years. Now it all things in it has worse. I am not able to run OS in it. It neither boot nor show any sign on opening of windows. What to do I am really confused.
