I can't tell you how annoying it is when someone wants you to backup their files, and they are all over the computer, even in C: drive..AHHHHH!!!!!
You are so right, Mitz!
Mara if a program is more than a few months old those zips are probably out dated, you may want to check the version
Okay, will do – and thanks again!
still its a good idea to have backups of the programs you use, and to keep the program and backup updatedthat goes for everyonemainly i cant remember half the programs i had
No matter how many times you mention the word backup, people just still don't do it.. I had a friend bring me her computer to fix and she was desperate…And why was she so desperate??? She had two years worth of business records on the computer…Are you kidding me…When I got into the computer I sent her home with it to back it up.
Keep your filing system refined to work better and better. Rename or rearrange folders and files and trash inactive. Avoid duplication of folders, particularly those that contain photos or other large files, you fill the disk and create confusion.
Filing systems used to organize traditional paper documents like color coding and tabs do not always transfer well to computerized electronic documents.
Clean and well managed system increase utility of the system and also makes its access faster.
