Honestly have mixed feelings about this because labeled 'light' or not, anyone who smokes must surely now – and even many, many years ago –December 19, 2008 at 5:35 am #30517
I have smoked for 50yrs and it's my choice,as I'm quite aware of the harm it's doing to my health. Can't see how they can call it light. You break the filter tip off and it's still the same strenght to me.I think it's the number of perferated holes in the paper,in so called light or mild cigarettes,as you can't get the same amount of Nicotine,at any one time. I think you have hit the nail on the head DSTM, Having been a smoker about the only difference I can see is the amount of air versus the amount of smoke between light and non lightMara you did not offend anyone because your right about knowing, Common sense would tell a smoker thatI think it very unfortunate that the Supreme court has handed down this verdict simply because we ( U.S) have becomea nation of " Can't take responsibility for my actions so I will sue."Growing up we have all done things that have hurt us, but we learn from those mistakes and then don't do them againmaybe we all need to go back and re-learn those things again.Bear
