Why not try removing the entire network and start from scratch…step by step as you did in the beggining…Also:Do you have a windows disc....You could also try this. I am not sure if it fixes corrupt files, but if the file is missing it will fix that. So if the virus changed a system file that you need, it may help.Go to the run box and type in sfc /scannow This command will start the search. You will be prompted to put your Operating system disc in and away it goes. Maybe the laptop has no connection because of all the settings that have changed now...It really may not have the same problem as the main computer.
