Hi thereWelcome to the forum.When building the computer did you research what parts went into this? I know from experience that one wrong component in this mix can create a lemon. Anyway if you were still having a blue screen I would definitely tell you to take a photo of the info that flashes on the screen...Maybe you did this?As you have updated the Bios. This is your latest and greatest problem. MY rule for the BIOS is if it is not broken, then don't fix it. The questions I have for you is...Did you backup the bios first? Did you use a CD rom or a floppy disc to do the flash? Have you thought of returning the motherboard to the shop and starting again?Hopefully the BIOS didn't cause the black screen and the previous problem did. If it was the BIOS there is a good chance your computer may not boot again because when you power down after a failed flash there is usually no going back. Most times this has to be repaired by the manufacturer.
