You can try re-seating the ram but I think the blue screens have been warning of a failure to come. I guess we were not quick enough to solve the problem. It would be nice if you had another stick of ram to put in there to see once and for all but this is not always possible. Did you end up taking the hard drive out and getting your data? This is a good idea, because either way this is your safest bet.Those error codes you have provided are very broad. Was there any writing with it...like some words in CAPITAL letters. Sometimes you do not get any more information. Some information on the internet points to a problem with your antivirus program and others point to hardware. Now for the black screen. Is there a cursor on the screen or is it totally black?
