There are possibly two way to change the router encryption key. One is to reset the router back to dealt settings but pressing in the reset button and holding it in until the lights flash or go off on on. This should restore your router to factory defaults which means there are only the passwords the router came with. You can also change the WEP Key (Wired Equivalent Privacy) on a router by entering the router homepage. You need to know the router access password. If you have not changed the password then it is easy to find. You will also need to know the IP address of your router. Here's How to find your router IPLet me know if you need any further assistance. I am gathering that you know how to do this because you have already set your own encryption key on your router.
