WOW This is crazy stuff. And who knows what really goes on. I know the government can be reckless with people's details but I am not sure if they would sell them...The banks...yeah they would.. I hate banks and telephone companies.
Yeah the Government wouldn't sell your email address they would just lose things like that for example you may have heard of the royal cock-ups 2 government officials made here when they left their laptops on trains, twice!, one included varying amounts of important data about people in this country and the other I think was something to do with the Army or something like that, can't remember what was reported to be on them since it happened last year.Yeah we also have some sort of similar list which they say will stop marketers calling you, and like Mitz said it doesn't work here either, it worked for about 6 months, 6 glorious months of ME not answering to hear marketers (you see in my house I'm the "official phone answerer", so 9 times out of 10 I answer the phone to the marketers) then it just stopped worked and we started getting the marketers calling again, in recent weeks we have had phone calls from France, Spain, Scotland and India and then varying other countries which I probably don't even know.
