Hi Pink and welcome to the Forum !!I dont use ITunes but I'll have a go at this!ITunes as far as I know searches all music folders and adds them to its own folders. When it does so however, its not actually physically adding the other music to its folder.. or you would end up with all your music being in your computer twice, taking extra space. What its doing is creating shortcuts to the other music, therefore if you delete the original the shortcut wont work..The solution is to actually move the music from the original music folder to the ITunes folder. If you do that and you get the 'there's already one of these in here do you want to overwrite' message then you just say yes. That means you'll have to be careful when saving stuff though and make sure everything is going into the ITunes folder, and that includes things like checking the options in Limewire etc and making sure its saving everything in the ITunes folder. If its just that you want to use only ITunes to actually play the music, and the folders themselves aren't the issue, then just set ITunes as the default music player. There will be something in options to do that... it will be called file types or something like that, and it will mention all the different types of file extensions like mp3, m4a etc.. you just make sure it is set to be the default player for all the different file types. If any of our other members have better information here, I'd be more than happy to be corrected on this, but I think you'll find I am pretty near the mark 🙂I hope this helps, and once again, welcome to our little community!
