Sometimes you need to reset your browser settings back to default options. This is especially a good idea when your default search engine has changed or even if you see those pesky toolbars that you don’t remember installing.
When certain software is installed it can change browser settings without notice. Resetting your browser settings will reset your options to default and get rid of unwanted changes.
Please note: Your saved bookmarks and passwords will remain unchanged when you reset Chrome browser settings.
