Previously I wrote an article about Using Windows Remote Assistance To Get Computer Help, however the way I am going to show you today is a bit different. The amazing thing about this cute little program is that anyone can use it. You will become a professional at making screen cast videos and sharing them with your friends. The program I am talking about is Jing. Its not a new program but it is free and extremely handy.
“Record what you see (and do).
Select a window or region and Jing will record everything that appears in that area. Point to things with your mouse, scroll, flip through photos, click around in a website or application…Jing captures it.”
What you will need:
1. An internet connection
2. Download a free program called Jing
3. Use it to provide computer help to your friends and family
Watch this video tutorial on how to use Jing:
In the video below I will show you how to use Jing to record your screen, then Jong uploads to the internet for you and all you have to do is give your friend the link to the video. You can give them the link through Msn messenger, Skype, or email. Press the play button in the middle of the screen.
Never heard of Jing…and it’s free, sounds awesome.
The Chinese variant of MSN is called QQ and is in my opinion better than msn. It also has the screen capture option, you can take screenshots of particular parts of the screen, or you can get a friend to watch your screen like in Skype.
You can also do video calling and normal audio chat like msn, but they actually had this long before msn, which is pretty cool. Their programming skills are quite impressive and innovative.
Thanks for aqll this helpful informations. As per my opinion Jing is a quick and easy tool for creating and sharing editable “screen shots” (images) and “screencasts”.Jing acts like a camera and video recorder built into your computer that “captures or catches” what you see on your monitor screen.
