Google Analytics is a number one tool for all webmasters. Therefore if you have a website you must get Google Analytics. It is free to use for anyone with a website.
In this video tutorial you will see how to add a website into your Google analytics account.
This video presumes that you have a google Account. If you do not have one simply go to http://www.google.com/analytics/ and signup for a new account.
I use Google Analytics to:
- Find the highest paying Adsense keywords
- Find out what keywords people use to get to my website
- Find out what is popular content
Google Analytics is an amazing free tool from Google.

Great tutorial. GAT is really a fantastic tool that I think a lot of webmasters dont fully appreciate. I mean, the wealth of information that this tool provides is amazing. Its like having a group of professionals, keeping an aye on your site and the traffic and reporting every little detail that can help you pin point problems, opportunities and so on.

Great tutorial, Mitz. And very well explained too. I had some problems adding GA to wordpress, but it was very easy on blogger. I ended up adding it twice to my first wp site, for some reason and only realised I’d done so when my bounce rate was fantastically low
I still don’t know how I did that. It’s all sorted now.
