I really thought everybody would know what is the difference between cut and copy. I thought the name is self-explanatory. But just last week my housemate put some files on a hdd for me. He gave me the hdd and I open it. Then I ask him “Do you want me to cut or copy the files?” then he said “WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?”
which even made my Chinese gf look up and say “YOU DON’T KNOW?!?” she even knows in English. But my housemate a 25 year old guy who uses his laptop all day and makes music mixes on it and even uses it for his work as a dj, doesn’t even know such a basic thing…. shocking.
