Remember when you used to see those silly one cent auctions? Not even sure if they exist now days but I bet you wondered why people were running these auctions.
There is no real secret to a one cent Ebay auction. The facts are:
Your listing costs in between 10 and 30 cents and you may list the quantity as 100 or more, however this does not add up to any profit unless the buyer pays through direct deposit. By the way you will have to sell a huge quantity to make any money.
The only thing you gain is dodgy feedback for a relatively small price. (Note that all feedback on Ebay is listed in detail now). It’s not a good look when your feedback score comes from buying 1 cent e-books.
If you sell it for between 1 cent and 30 cents and they pay through Paypal they take it as a fee..Now there is no profit.
One good thing is when you sell one you can also put a link in the e-book to your website or your Ebay shop. You shouldn’t miss this opportunity. This is free advertising for you.
