Why you should have a USB flash drive

What is a USB flash drive:

A USB flash drive is a small storage device that can be plugged into your computer via a USB port. Now days all computers have a USB port so you will not have a problem finding one. Your USB flash drive can store files on it and the amount of files depends on what size your USB flash drive is. Of course with technology developing at a rapid pace, USB flash drives are growing in size month by month.

How much does a USB flash drive cost?

Like all technology, the price of a USB flash drive has dropped considerably over time. It used to be expensive to buy even a 1 GB USB flash drive but now you can buy an 8 GB one for the same price. For example you can buy a 8GB USB flash drive for under $10 now. It is well worth the money because its makes your data and files mobile.

What size USB flash drive do I need?

When it comes to choosing the size of your USB flash drive, you must consider what you are going to use it for. If you want to store large files on there then you will have to get a flash drive with more storage space. You can buy large USB flash drives but the price will depend on the size. For example you can get a 128 GB USB flash drive for around $100. If you are looking for bigger storage than what a USB flash drive can offer, the next step is to look at buying an external hard drive.
