If you are the average computer user you may not remember all the details about your computer, like model of the motherboard, how much ram you have installed, or even the serial numbers of Windows. Well I know I cannot keep track of all this so I tried out a program that tells everything and more..
One of the common questions that I get asked is “What Operating system do I have?” It is very important that you know basic information like this. All of this information can be gathered by entering the system properties box.
If you need more detailed information then there is a free program to help you.
It is called Belarc Advisor and it is free. All you do is download it, install and start.. It is quite scary how much information comes up when you use this program. Even the users names, your IP Address, and Microsoft office serial number are shown. It also tells you about your hardware, including how big your hard drive is and whether it is partitioned or not?
