Free computer Tips

If you haven't already set your computer to delete all pictures after they have been transferred from your digital camera, there are two easy ways to do this. One way is automatically and the other is the manual way. I personally like to choose when and where I delete my pictures from my camera, just incase the unforgiveable happens.

How to automatically delete pictures from your digital camera after you have transferred the photos:

  1. Go to the start menu in the left corner

  2. Choose My computer

  3. Connect your digital camera to your computer and turn the camera on

  4. Your camera will appear under the heading of Scanners and Cameras

  5. Double click on the camera icon

  6. In the left column menu click on show camera properties

  7. Go to the events tab

  8. Click on the circle next to Save all pictures to this folder

  9. Then tick the box to Delete pictures from the camera after saving them.
