I think I would still prefer desk top, my second choice is laptop for travels. I am not that interested with the newer technologies like ipads and iphones.

As Blackberry’s (the phone anyway) are big in businesses, I sort of assumed the playbook would figure largely in the corporate world. It seems company’s are turning to Apple instead. As Banks are paranoid about security – Android devices won’t figure – not necessarily that they are insecure, but Android as an OS is Open and open means vulnerabilities. Having said that iOS has it’s own vulnerabilities of course, made evident by the Jail breakers! I know certain branches of Banks use iPads to engage customers and a lot of medium sized businesses can see the attraction of tablets.

I can also see the attraction of using a tablet compare it to a laptop or even a blackberry. I have noticed a lot of government departments using iPads in Australia. I am sure the hackers will find more vulnerabilities iOS very soon as more people will have them.
I know some people who used an iPad on their business and they became successful then…I have to try it also…

ipad is not only for Internet/social networking purposes. It is also being use by businessmen. My friend, a restaurant owner uses his iPad as recipe book. Also, my brother a constant traveler uses his iPad as an interactive map. And currently I’m using my iPad.
