AutoScreenRecorder is a simple screen recorder that can capture desktop activity in video.
| It can capture from any area on your desktop, from an adjustable rectangular area, an active window, or even the entire screen. You can add dates and names, and choose to include or exclude the mouse pointer from the video.
The output can be saved in Flash format or as AVI, with a number of codec and compression options available for you to choose.

AutoScreenRecorder is very easy to use, but doesn't allow you to edit or annotate the captured frames - it offers a simple `what you record is what you get` approach.
